The CECCE is committed to ensuring that its elementary and high schools accept children and youth who are eligible for French-language education under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Education Act of Ontario, and its regulations. Accordingly, students who meet the following criteria are admitted to its schools:

Parents who do not meet these language criteria may ask the school administration for an admission committee to consider the child’s registration anyway.
The CECCE’s elementary schools accept Catholic children with a parent or guardian who is a CECCE taxpayer. Either the children or one of their parents must have been baptized in a Catholic or Catholic rite church (Available in French only) to be eligible for admission to a CECCE school.
The CECCE’s high schools accept Catholic students with a parent or guardian who is a CECCE taxpayer. The CECCE’s high schools are also open to students of all other religious denominations. In all cases, students must abide by the Catholic nature of the schools and their programs.
Students must have successfully completed their elementary school studies.
